Photography
It can be anything, really. An abandoned car, a still active site with a fancy old steel machine taking lots of rust over the years, a building, a factory, a house, a theme park, a simple structure, the smallest object on earth.
I love taking pictures of things which normal people simply avoid or don’t know or even care if they are there. People can be very uncaring about stuff they don’t want to see.
As for me, every little item on planet Earth has a meaning, a place and a story which I want to recover.
Exploration
As I quietly rush through a jungle of new plants and obstacles, not trying to expose myself from people passing by on the nearby street. I approach an abandoned castle with fancy old-school looking towers and beautifully-decorated walls from decades ago.
I find it interesting to imagine what it was like when its inhabitants where still present. How life was years ago, how many people were or lived there, what activities were going on, and so on.
Memory
Anything can be forgotten, nothing can be left behind. We always leave traces, not matter how hard you clean things. The famous quote for urban explorers is the following: “Take only pictures, leave nothing but footprints.”
Even then your scent will remain present for a very long time.
